Sentrial
Production Monitoring for AI Agents
Verdict
Sentrial is tackling a real problem in a hot market but is severely handicapped by founder inexperience — two Berkeley undergrads whose combined 'relevant' experience is a handful of 3-month internships. The product appears functional (live SDK, pricing, docs) but shows zero evidence of paying customers or meaningful traction. The competitive landscape is brutal: LangSmith, Langfuse, Helicone, and Arize are all established with real customer bases, and Datadog is creeping in. Without a defensible technical edge or demonstrated customer pull, this looks like a well-presented student project in a crowded market. The YC stamp helps, but the team needs to ship revenue fast or get outrun by incumbents.
Active Founders
Neel is the co-founder of Sentrial - production monitoring for AI products. He studied Computer Science at UC Berkeley and worked on agentic optimization at Sense. He saw firsthand that traditional evaluation frameworks break down once agents hit production. That insight led to the creation of Sentrial, a platform built to monitor, evaluate, and improve agent performance in real-world, production environments. contact: neel@sentrial.com
Anay is the co-founder of Sentrial. He studied Computer Science at UC Berkeley and worked on deploying agents at Accenture. After seeing how quickly agent behavior can drift and break once it’s live, he started Sentrial to bring clear, continuous production monitoring to AI agents. contact: anay@sentrial.com
