MochaCare
AI-Supercharged Humans for Home Care Agency Growth
Verdict
MochaCare is attacking a real, large, and operationally painful market with a clear ICP and a differentiated human-plus-AI service model. The founders have genuine personal motivation and solid technical backgrounds, but both are effectively recent grads with no prior company-building or B2B go-to-market experience. The product looks thoughtfully designed but there are zero public signals of paying customers, named logos, or revenue traction. The hybrid managed-services model is capital-intensive and hard to scale without strong unit economics — the key risk is whether they can build a repeatable sales motion and maintain margins as they grow beyond the founders doing the work themselves.

Previously worked at - Linktree: product engineering & growth experimentation - Spotify: personalization and product - Amazon (AWS): software engineering, data - Microsoft (Azure): software engineering, IoT I'm extremely grateful to be working in the care industry. My grandparents raised me as a child and giving back to our aging population is incredibly fulfilling for me.
Co-Founder @ MochaCare | Masters in CS @ UIUC - AI Agents @ GoDaddy - ML Research Fellow @ UCSB - SWE @ DecisionMinds I spent eight years doing companion care for neurodiverse people. This meant showing up for people and helping manage and coordinate the work. My grandparents also played a big role in my life (my grandpa taught me the times table) Now I'm building MochaCare — hiring/scheduling services for the operators who keep this system running for seniors and neurodiverse people.
